A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding an application submitted by the New York City Housing Authority and 25th Street Chelsea Equities LLC pursuant to Section 201 of the New York City Charter for an amendment of the Zoning Resolution relating to Article 2, Chapter 3 (Height and Setback Regulations). Approval would create a new Section 23-635 that would establish an authorization to allow modifications to height and setback regulations and reductions in the amount of required parking to facilitate the construction of a 22-story mixed use building with approximately 168 units on the northwest corner of West 25th Street and 9th Avenue, Manhattan, Community District 4. A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding an application submitted by Woodhaven Realty LLC pursuant to Sections 197-c and 201 of the New York City Charter for the grant of a special permit pursuant to Section 74-992 of the Zoning Resolution to allow Use Group 6 and/or 10A uses with no limitation on floor area in an existing building located at 72-25 Woodhaven Boulevard, in an M1-1 District in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Queens, Community District 6. The request was ultimately approved by CPC subject to various terms and conditions.
A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding an application submitted by the Department of City Planning pursuant to Section 201 of the New York City Charter for an amendment of the Zoning Resolution relating to Article 9, Chapter 3 (Special Hudson Yards District) and Article 12, Chapter 1 (Special Garment Center District) located in Manhattan, Community District 4. Approval would ensure that future development respects the existing neighborhood character and enhances the pedestrian experience. The request was ultimately approved by CPC.
A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding an application submitted by Roc-Sedgwick LLC and the Trust under the Will of Rober S. Olnick, pursuant to Sections 197-c and 199 of the New York City Charter and Section 5-430 et seq. of the New York City Administrative Code, for an amendment to the City Map in order to facilitate the acquisition by the applicants of the unbuilt City-owned street in order to consolidate the applicants' property into one contiguous parcel for a future residential development in the Highbridge area of the Bronx, Community District 4. The request was ultimately approved by CPC.
