A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding an application submitted by the New York City Housing Authority and 25th Street Chelsea Equities LLC pursuant to Section 201 of the New York City Charter for an amendment of the Zoning Resolution relating to Article 2, Chapter 3 (Height and Setback Regulations). Approval would create a new Section 23-635 that would establish an authorization to allow modifications to height and setback regulations and reductions in the amount of required parking to facilitate the construction of a 22-story mixed use building with approximately 168 units on the northwest corner of West 25th Street and 9th Avenue, Manhattan, Community District 4. The request was ultimately approved by CPC (see Related Action for all applications filed concurrently with this one).
