Offerman Building Individual Landmark Designation Report

On November 16, 2004, the Landmarks Preservation Commission held a public hearing on the proposed designation of the Offerman Building and the related landmark site. Eight witnesses spoke in favor of designation, including representatives from Brooklyn Heights Association, Fort Greene Association, Metropolitan Chapter of the Victorian Society in America, and other organizations. The report describes the landmark and its significance and decides on whether it is a landmark or not.
