The purpose of E-Hail is to pair passengers with drivers that may not have otherwise been able to see each other. The E-Hail pilot program was created to test the effectiveness of hailing a cab electronically through a cellphone app. As of March 2016, the E-Hail pilot became a license and was no longer a pilot.
