This is the City's Fiscal 2008 Mayor's Management Report (MMR). The report contains narrative, data tables and charts describing the performance of the City and its agencies during the fiscal year (July through June). The MMR, mandated by Section 12 of the City Charter and serving as a public report card on City services affecting New Yorkers, is released twice a year (PMMR and MMR). The annual MMR is published in September to look at the City's performance for the recently ended fiscal year, in comparison to annual plans and previous years' performance. The Preliminary MMR (PMMR) is published the previous winter, providing an early update of how the City is performing four months into the fiscal year, for July through October. Agency submitted date as September 1, 2008.
