Quantities of paper applications distributed to EFAP have been provided in this report. As a result of electronically submitted applications, it is likely that, going forward, this number will decrease and/or reflect a zero quantity. In fact, now 84% of applications are now submitted online.

Brooklyn schools announced they will be participating in Meatless Mondays, which would provide participating schools with healthy, all-vegetarian breakfast and lunch menus every Monday. The mayor stated that this program would benefit the health of the children and benefit the environment.
Mayor Bill de Blasio, Schools Chancellor Carmen Fariña and Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams today announced that 15 Brooklyn schools will participate in Meatless Mondays next spring.
