The New York City Business Integrity Commission (the “Commission”
or “BIC”) is proposing changes to Title 17 of the Rules of the City of New York to add new rules
to implement Section 1043(g) of the New York City Charter, which permits any person to petition
a city agency to consider adoption.
What are we proposing? The New York City Business Integrity Commission (the “Commission” or
“BIC”) is proposing changes to its rules. First, the Commission is authorizing the Hearings Division of
the New York City Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH) to adjudicate BIC summonses.
