The Interagency Foster Care Task Force (the Task Force) was created following the enactment of Local Law 144 of 2016, and charged with issuing recommendations to improve services and outcomes for youth in and aging out of foster care.
The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS), in partnership with our foster care provider agencies, conducted the second annual Foster Care Youth Experience Survey in accordance with Local law 146 of 2016.
This report presents the new five-year ACS Foster Care Strategic Blueprint for FY 2019-FY 2023 and
the findings from a review of the cases of children in foster care for more than two years.
