During the reporting period January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, DOB did not close any building, structure, enclosure, place or premises pursuant to Article 14 of Title 28 of the Administrative Code.
The report describes that in 2020, the Department received 80 complaints. Upon inspection, the Department determined that no enforcement action was necessary with respect to 52 complaints. The Department issued 28 violations where it determined that enforcement action was necessary.
This annual report has been prepared pursuant to Local Law 196 of 2017 (“Local Law 196”), which was passed by the New York City Council on September 27, 2017 and signed by the Mayor on October 16, 2017. For safety training for workers and that supervisors at certain job sites.

In compliance with Local Law 146 of 2016, ACS conducts an annual survey of all youth in foster care age 13 and older, regarding their experiences in foster care. ACS submits this report with findings from the survey to the New York City Council.

In compliance with Local Law 141 passed by the New York City Council in 2016, ACS submits an annual report on government issued personal identification for youth in foster care to the Council.
In compliance with Local Law 142 passed by the New York City Council in 2017, ACS submits an annual report on educational continuity and school attendance rates of children in foster care.
