A report detailing the number of small businesses served through the Department’s Commercial Lease Assistance Program, disaggregated by borough. The report covers the period beginning on July 1, 2021 and ending on June 30, 2022.
Report shall include, but not be limited to: (i) a list of all recipients of such economic development benefits; (ii) the minority and women-owned business goals for these recipients; (iii) whether the recipient conducted a good faith effort to identify and utilize minority and women-owned businesses to achieve such goals; and (iv) if minority and women-owned business contracting goals were not met by a recipient, a description of the reasons the goals were not met.
No later than six months after the end of each fiscal year, report including (a) the number of worker cooperatives that applied for assistance from the department in the previous fiscal year; the number of worker cooperatives assisted by the department in the previous fiscal year; the industries in which such worker cooperatives operate and the community districts in which such worker cooperatives are headquartered; and the specific actions taken by the department in the previous fiscal year to assist the development of worker cooperatives, including, but not limited to, the services rendered by the department to enhance the ability of such worker cooperatives to compete for and obtain city contracts; and (b) for each of the worker cooperatives assisted by the department in the previous fiscal year as described in subparagraph (a) of this paragraph, the department shall furnish the name and address of such worker cooperative; the number of natural persons who became worker-members during the previous fiscal year, where made available to the department; the number of non-member workers who were hired during the previous fiscal year, where made available to the department; and a summary of the services provided by the department to such worker cooperative in the previous fiscal year.
