Local Laws 126, 127, and 128 of 2016 require the Mayor’s Office of Operations to conduct an annual review of all forms issued by ACS, DFTA, DOE, DOHMH, DSS/HRA/DHS, and DYCD that meet criteria set forth in these laws, and to submit a report to the City Council within 60 days of such review.
The Automated Decision Systems Task Force was required by Local Law 49 of 2018. The Task Force's recommendations, which relate to how the City manages these systems, are included in this report.

The annual Mayor's Management Report (MMR) covers the twelve-month fiscal year period, from July through June. The Mayor's Management report covers performance for the first four months of the fiscal year, from July 1st through October 31st.

The report contains information and data tables describing the performance of the City and its agencies during the reporting period. The MMR, mandated by Section 12 of the City Charter and serving as a public report card on City services affecting New Yorkers, is released twice a year (PMMR and MMR). The PMMR provides an early update of how the City is performing four months into the fiscal year, from July through October. The annual MMR, containing additional narrative and charts, is published in September to look at the City's performance for the recently ended fiscal year (July through June), in comparison to annual plans and previous years' performance.
