The American Self Storage Landing Road LLC submitted an application for an amendment of the Zoning Map, which would change and establish districts to facilitate the development of a mixed-use building. The building will be located in the University Heights section of the Bronx and it will have residential and retail uses, with space for parking.
The Department of Housing Preservation and Development submitted an application for the Urban Development Action Area designation and project approval for the area located at 1382, 1388, 1392 and 1414 Shakespeare Avenue to facilitate the development of a building tentatively knwon as Shakespeare Place.
The Department of Parks and Recreation submitted an application for an amendment to the City Map, which would eliminate 43rd Avenue of Queens and establish parkland. This will facilitate the preservation of an environmentally sensitive area and the natural habitat in the Udalls Ravine Preserve.
The Department of Housing Preservation and Development submitted an application for acquisition of property to facilitate the development of a seven-story building. The building will be located at 1392-1414 Shakespeare Avenue in the Bronx and will have residential and community uses. It is known as Shakespeare Place.
The Department of Parks and Recreation submitted an application for an amendment to the City Map, which would establish the Wyckoff Bennett Mont House Park at the corner of Avenue P and East 22nd Street in Brooklyn. This will facilitate the preservation of the Wyckoff Bennett House, which is a rare example of early colonial Dutch architecture and one of the earliest settlements of Brooklyn.
