The Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the Crotona Play Center and Bath House interior, located at Fulton Avenue between East 172nd Street and East 173rd Street in the Bronx, as a city landmark. It was opened in 1936 and this designation does not conflict with the Zoning Resolution or any plans for development in the area.
A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding the landmark designation of the Sunnyside Gardens Historic District in Queens by the Landmarks Preservation Commission on June 26, 2007 (Designation List No. 393/LP-2258). The district is generally bounded by 43rd Street, 52nd Street, Barnett Avenue and Queens Boulevard, consisting of 624 buildings covering about 16 blocks. It was ultimately concluded that the subject landmark designation does not conflict with the Zoning Resolution or any projected improvements or plans for growth and development in the vicinity of the landmark.

The Department of Transportation filed an application for an amendment to the City Map, which would allow for a change of legal grades in the Kings Highway Bridge and any acquisition or disposition of property that may be necessary. The bridge is located between West 7th Street and West 8th Street in Brooklyn and these actions will help facilitate the reconstruction of the bridge.
An application was submitted for a map change, which would discontinue and close Canarsie Lane. Canarsie Lane is located from Foster Avenue in East 87th Street in Brooklyn and this action will enable the construction of two-family housing for the area.
The Department of Small Business Services, on behalf of the Southern Boulevard District Management Association, submitted the district plan for the Southern Boulevard Business Improvement District in the Bronx. This plan focuses on improving the sanitation, security and marketing of the area.
The Department of Housing Preservation and Development submitted an application for an amendment of the Zoning Map, which would change, eliminate and establish blocks on a block bounded by Varet Street, Graham Avenue/Avenue of Puerto Rico, Cook Street, and Manhattan Avenue in Brooklyn. The applications, C 070433 HAK and C 070344 ZSK, are being considered concurrently with this application.
