NYC Votes is the voter engagement campaign of the New York City Campaign Finance Board (CFB). Under the NYC Votes banner, the CFB conducts voter registration drives and events, educates voters about their choices, and works to engage New Yorkers in civic life.

Early voting seems to be gaining popularity in NYC, especially in higher turnout elections. The 2020 general election peaked at 36.3% of all voters voting early. The 2021 primary early voting electorate tripled from the 2020 primary.
The identifying information collected, retained, or disclosed by the CFB addressed in this report relates to two categories, the first involving certain individuals and entities/organizations who contribute to the contributors of independent spenders
By law, NYC Votes must send a Voter Guide to every household with a registered voter in New York City for city elections. Based on census data, we send a guide in English and Spanish to every registered voter and in Chinese, Korean, and Bengali to voters in targeted areas.
