City Council Resolution No. 1004 L.U. No. 226-A requires we report on revenues received by the City from each franchise DOT grants and the locations of each structure installed or removed during the preceding calendar year.

The 2023 NYC Heat-Related Mortality Report is submitted pursuant to Local Law No. 84 of 2020. Heat contributes to the deaths of about 350 New Yorkers, on average, each year during the warm season of May through September. This report includes data about heat events and heat stress deaths.
Despite elevated inflation and interest rates, the NYC economy is continuing to grow at a moderate pace and the City’s revenues are up primarily due to strong property, business, and sales taxes, and due to non-recurring Covid relief funds.
