By law, NYC Votes must send a Voter Guide to every household with a registered voter in New York City for city elections. Based on census data, we send a guide in English and Spanish to every registered voter and in Chinese, Korean, and Bengali to voters in targeted areas.
The report examines changes in the overall supply of housing in NYC during the prior year, looking at factors that include the number of permits issued and the number of completed housing units.
Our office is required to submit this document and to share this information (2022 Identifying Information Law - Agency Report) with interested parties in the essence of being transparent. It provides the community an opportunity to review this information and become familiar with the practice.
