New York City Emergency Management is responsible for the NYC Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program and distributes this weekly CERT newsletter to all active members so that they stay up-to-date on new opportunities, policies and initiatives that affect their membership.

This memo has been submitted to demonstrate NYCEM's compliance with Local Law 11 of 2012. The required report on open data compliance is compiled and submitted to the portal by the Mayor's Office of Data Analytics.
Local Law 26/2011 requires agencies responsible for preparing for and responding to snow emergencies provide an annual snow preparedness and response report for each snow event of six inches or greater. From November 15, 2019 through November 14, 2020 there were zero (0) reportable snow events.
