The City Charter requires DCAS Commissioner to report quarterly to the Mayor, the City Council, the City Civil Service Commission, and the Equal Employment Practices Commission on the number of provisionally appointed City employees (known as “Provisionals”), the length of their provisional service.
Report contains disaggregated information on families with children in shelter such as, but not limited to, average length of stay, school transfer rate for children, number of children who reside in shelter and are enrolled in pre-kindergarten. Note that this is a partial report with only DHS data.
By law, all City agencies that provide direct public services must create a language access implementation plan (LAIP) in order to ensure meaningful language access to their services. The LAIP explains how MOME will provide language access services to people who have limited English proficiency.
