Pursuant to Section 4.3.1.4 of the NYC Solid Waste Management Plan adopted by NY City Council and approved by the NY State DEC in 2006, the Department is required to evaluate the acceptance of waste generated by commercial establishments and delivered by private carting companies to its four MTSs.
