ACS Foster Care Five-Year Plan Progress Report (Fiscal Year 2023) (January 2024): In compliance with Local Law 143 of 2016, ACS produces an annual update regarding the Five-Year Plan to address barriers to permanency for children in foster care.
The Female Genital Mutilation and Cutting (FGM/C) Advisory Committee was established by Local Law 109 of 2021, and is chaired by The Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence (ENDGBV). The advisory committee makes recommendations to decrease and eventually eliminate FGM/C in the NYC.
Through partnerships with community groups, schools, and various city agencies, FDNY's fire safety education team coordinated/participated in in-person and virtual events during CY 2022 that provided awareness of general residential safety, placing an emphasis on targeting youth.
