The objective of the Feasibility Study of Routing Alternatives for Commercial Waste Trucks, conducted by the Department of Sanitation, is to investigate alternative routing of commercial waste transfer stations trucks to reduce environmental impacts. The study areas include East Williamsburg/Bushwick/Greenpoint in Brooklyn, Port Morris and Hunts Point Peninsula in the Bronx, and Jamaica in Queens.
