The Department of Housing Preservation and Development submitted an application for a proposed Urban Development Action Area designation and project and disposition of city-owned property to facilitate the development of three buildings, known as Cornerstone III Site 11. It is located in Central Harlem and the property would be developed into housing.
Fifth Avenue 58/59 Acquisition Co. LLC submitted an application for an amendment of the Zoning Resolution to facilitate the construction of a glass cube entryway to a below-grade retail space on Fifth Avenue.
Lincoln Center Development Project, Inc. submitted an application for revocable consent to permit the installation of kiosks along West 65th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue.
Lincoln Center Development Project, Inc. submitted an application for amendments to the Zoning Resolution, which would facilitate Lincoln Center's 65th Street Plan. These amendments would change the height of signs and facades facing Broadway between West 65th Street and West 66th Street.
The Department of Citywide Administrative Services submitted an application for site selection and acqusition of the High Line rail structure and associate easements. It is located between Gansevoort Street, Tenth and Eleventh Avenues, and West 30th Street and will be used as public open space.
The Fire Department and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services filed an application for site selection and acquisition of property located at 40-14 214th Place in Queens, for use by Engine Company 306. It will be used as a parking lot for employees, as well as an area to locate a hazardous materials response unit.
RCPI Landmark Properties, LLC submitted an application for an amendment of the Zoning Resolution, which would facilitate placing illuminated signs in Rockefeller Center. This will preserve, protect and enhance the character of Fifth Avenue.
A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding the district plan for the Dumbo Business Improvement District (BID) located in Brooklyn, submitted by the Department of Small Business Services (DSBS) and authorized by the Mayor. On March 14, 2005, on behalf of the DUMBO District Management Association (DMA), DSBS submitted the district plan for the BID. The plan was ultimately approved by CPC.
A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding the UDAAP designation and project approval of property on West 115th Street in Manhattan as requested by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development. The project would facilitate the development of two, seven-story buildings, tentatively known as Cornerstone Sites, for residential units.
The Department of Parks and Recreation and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, on the behalf of New York City, submitted an application for the acquisition of easements on Lincoln Center's property. This will facilitate the building of a proposed pedestrian bridge and tunnel traversing West 65th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue.
