Comments on New York City's Executive Budget
The Office of the New York City Comptroller Brad Lander provides commentary on the city's budget for FY2026. In recognition of the risk that Federal policy changes present, the commentary presents two new economic and revenue forecasts: "no recession scenario" and "mild recession".
