A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding the application for a special permit persuant to Section 74-681 of the Zoning Resolution, submitted by MSK Properties LLC pursuant to Sections 197-c and 201 of the New York City Charter to allow a portion of a railroad yard which has been permanently discontinued or terminated to be included in the lot area for a mixed use development. The property located at 6200 8th Avenue, is bounded by the Bay Ridge Branch of the LIRR, 63rd street, and Seventh and Eight Avenues in the Bay Ridge section of Community District 10, Brooklyn. The request was ultimately approved by CPC subject to various terms and conditions (see C 060353 ZMK for applications filed concurrently with this one).
