A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding an application submitted by the Department of City Planning pursuant to Sections 197-c and 201 of the New York City Charter for an amendment to the Zoning Map, Sections Nos. 22a, 22b, 22c, and 22d, which includes all or portions of 159 blocks in an area generally bounded by the LIRR Bay Ridge Division railroad right-of-way at 62nd Street, Poly Place, 14th Avenue, and Gowanus Expressway. The proposed amendment would rezone areas within these boundaries to different districts, affecting primarily the Dyker Heights/Fort Hamilton areas. The request was ultimately approved by CPC.
