A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding an application for an amendment pursuant to Section 2-06(c)(1) of the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure and to the Zoning Resolution, Article 2, Chapter 3 (Bulk regulations) submitted by the Department of City Planning pursuant to Section 201 of the New York City Charter to facilitate the Department's East Village/Lower East Side rezoning in Community District 3, Manhattan. The Department filed an application on July 3, 2008 to modify the proposed amendment to the Zoning Resoluton for public hearing and consideration by CPC, and is consequently the subject of this report. The request was ultimately approved by CPC subject to various terms and conditions (see C 080397 (A) ZMM for applications filed concurrently with this one).
