A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding an application submitted by the Department of City Planning and the Department of Parks and Recreation pursuant to Sections 197-c and 199 of the New York City Charter, for an amendment to the City Map involving the establishment of a waterfront Park and the acquisition or disposition of any real property related thereto. Approval would facilitate the development of a public park as part of an overall rezoning plan to assist in the redevelopment of 30 city blocks in the Lower Concourse neighborhood of the southwest Bronx, Community District 1. The request was ultimately approved by CPC (see Related Actions for all applications filed concurrently with this one).
