DOI Investigation Leads to Arrest of Section 8 Recipient.
Jocelyn E. Strauber, Commissioner of the NYC Dept. of Investigation announced the arrest on Thursday, March 27, 2025, of a Florida woman on charges of illegally obtaining more than $50,000 in Section 8 Benefits for a Bronx apartment where she did not reside.
