City Planning Commission Report (C 090087 PSQ)
The New York City Police Department (NYPD) and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services submitted an application for site selection of city-owned land in Springfield Gardens, Queens. This space will be used as a vehicle impoundment facility, holding cars impounded by the NYPD for forfeiture, drunk-driving arrests and evidence gathering procedures after accidents. This will replace the current facility within the College Point Industrial Urban Renewal Area.
