Download PDFDuring Fiscal Year 2009, the total cost of drugs purchased by the Pharmacy Department at the North Central Bronx's Hospital was $2.1 million. At the end of that fiscal year, the inventory of drugs at NCB totalled to $309,806. This audit determines whether NCB has adequate controls over the inventory of noncontrolled drugs. The results show that NCB has adequate controls over the inventory, though there were weaknesses present.
