Nora worked for the New York City Board of Water Supply, a predecessor agency of the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), on the City's Catskill water supply system. The DEP celebrates the opening of a new fleet maintenance garage in Kingston, Ulster County. Construction is underway on a $25 million sewer upgrade project in Rosedale, Queens.
