EAS Statement for the Proposed Amendments to Rules Concerning the Siting Requirements for Waste Transfer Stations
The proposed action would revise the siting rules administered and enforced by the New York City Department of Sanitation for private solid waste transfer stations as explained in greater detail below, the action is in part precipitated by a legal challenge to siting rules promulgated by DSNY in 1998.
