A report by the City Planning Commission (CPC) regarding an application submitted by the Department of City Planning pursuant to Sections 197-c and 201 of the New York City Charter and proposed for modification pursuant to Section 2-06(c)(1) of the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure, for an amendment of the Zoning Map, Section No. 12c to facilitate the Department's East Village/Lower East Side rezoning. The Department filed an application on July 3, 2008 to modify the proposed amendment to the Zoning Map for public hearing and consideration by CPC, and is consequently the subject of this report. The request was ultimately approved by CPC subject to various terms and conditions (see N 080398 (A) ZRM for applications filed concurrently with this one).
