FORMER BOARD OF ELECTIONS EMPLOYEE AND FORMER BRONX DISTRICT LEADER SENTENCED TO PRISON TIME ON FEDERAL EXTORTION AND MAIL FRAUD CHARGES
NICOLE TORRES, 44, of Bronx, N.Y., was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil to 24 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release, and is scheduled to surrender on January 5, 2026. In April 2025, TORRES pled guilty to one count of Conspiracy to Commit Extortion.
