The Department of City Planning submitted an application for an amendment of the Zoning Map, which would change districts in the North Corona neighborhood of Queens. The areas affected are bounded by Roosevelt Avenue, 89th Street, Junction, Northern and Astoria boulevards, and 112th and 114th streets. The goal of this rezoning is to encourage residential development.
