The 2025 Annual Healthy NYC report is submitted pursuant to Local Law 46 of 2024. New Yorkers’ life expectancy rose from 80.7 in 2021 to 83.2 years in 2024 — an increase of 2.5 years. This has surpassed the high of 82.6 years from 2019 and 2023 and exceeds the 2030 goal that the administration set.
