NYC Government Publication

The Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the Orchard Beach Bathhouse and Promenade, located at 895 Pelham Shore Road in the Bronx, as a city landmark. It was constructed between 1934 and 1937 and is an example of one of the public works projects executed during the Great Depression. This designation does not conflict with the Zoning Resolution or any plans for development.
