This report is compiled to satisfy requirements of the July 2007 United States Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) Filtration Avoidance Determination (FAD), which requires the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to submit a comprehensive annual report on the status of the watershed protection program.
