The report provides an overview of the recommendations of the New York City Domestic Violence Task Force. The NYC DV Task Force was created by Mayor Bill de Blasio in November 2016 and tasked with providing recommendations to enhance NYC's response to domestic violence. The report provides 21 specific recommendations in four areas: (1) expanding child and youth prevention and intervention; (2) enhancing criminal justice system responses; (3) strengthening New York City communities; and (4) improving citywide coordination to maximize resources.

(PSA) conducted an evaluation of the YMI Cornerstone Mentoring Program during the 2013-14 school year.
This is the 3rd Edition of Free Verse is a journal of prose and poetry created by and for probation clients in our South Bronx Neighborhood Opportunity Network, or NeON. The project is led by Dave Johnson, the NeON's poet-in-residence, and Lonni Tanner of See ChangeNYC, an initiative of NYD Department of Design and Construction.
In collaboration with DYCD, five OST programs (two school-based and three center-based) were identified to gather information about STEM implementation and quality improvement efforts during the 2012-13 school year. The programs were selected based on the providers' proposals, DYCD knowledge of program implementation, and brief phone interviews with 13 program directors. The purpose of this report was to explore the perspectives school principals on the OST program at their school given DYCD's increased expectations, highlighted in the 2011 OST RFP, regarding structures for high-quality OST programs. The purpose of this evaluation was to develop and administer a survey designed to explore the qualifications, role, and responsibilities of OST education specialists during the 2012-13 school year, the first year in which programs were required to include this staff position. This report summarizes findings on the qualifications of the OST education specialists, their role in supporting curriculum and lesson planning, relationships with schools, and the implementation of a continuous quality improvement process. The intent of the study was to determine the current and future transportation needs of Red Hook and identify whether a streetcar can effectively meet these needs. The Department of Transportation has completed the first phase of a study of surface transit needs in Downtown Brooklyn. This study has resulted in a number of recommendations for improving surface transit access and mobility throughout Downtown Brooklyn. This Final Report includes a range of short- and long-term improvements to address identified issues and help meet Downtown Brooklyn?s future transit needs.

The Department of Transportation hired a consultant team to conduct a bus ridership survey and route efficiency study of the private franchised carriers in the Bronx and Queens. This included bus lines operated by Green Bus Lines, Jamaica Buses, Liberty Lines Express, New York Bus Service, Queens Surface Corporation, and Triboro Coach. The bus operator in Brooklyn, Command Bus Company, was not included in this study.
