This annual report has been prepared pursuant to Local Law 224 of 2017, which was enacted on December 1, 2017. Pertaining to the number of active Site Safety Managers and Site Safety Coordinators.
During the reporting period January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, DOB did not close any building, structure, enclosure, place or premises pursuant to Article 14 of Title 28 of the Administrative Code.
The report describes that in 2020, the Department received 80 complaints. Upon inspection, the Department determined that no enforcement action was necessary with respect to 52 complaints. The Department issued 28 violations where it determined that enforcement action was necessary.
