The New York City Department of Sanitation, today provided the following update on operations in the wake of Tropical Storm Ida, including collection delays, enforcement suspension, debris removal, and catch-bin clearing.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has activated Urban Search and Rescue - New York Task Force 1 to deploy 83 members to assist in Hurricane Ida response and recovery efforts in Louisiana.
New York City Emergency Management is issuing a travel advisory to prepare for National Weather Service to prepare for any potential impacts to the city caused by remnants of Tropical Storm Ida.
