New York City has been collecting water quality data in New York Harbor since 1909. These data are utilzed by regulators, scientists, educators and citizens to assess impacts, trends and improvements in the water quality of New York Harbor.
A number of the metrics are shaped by one or more underlying factors, so that discussion with DFTA
concerning such factors prior to undertaking data analyses is recommended, especially as this is a newly
created dataset in the version attached.
