Description:: In response to Local Law 97 of 2016, this report examines the extent to which unpaid caregivers' needs are met in NYC and identifies areas for further improvement. The study was designed by DFTA and the Mayor's Office for Economic Opportunity (NYC Opportunity), with input from the Administration for Children's Services, the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities, and community stakeholders including AARP. It was conducted by NYC Opportunity in partnership with Westat, a research and statistical analytics firm.
