Pursuant to Local Law 33 of 2016, this report provides information on security indicators in city jails for the previous quarter, including uses of force, assaults on staff and/or people in custody, and violent incidents, disaggregated by adults, young adults, and adolescents.
Pursuant to Local Law 88 of 2015, this report provides information related to the population of incarcerated individuals in city jails for the preceding quarter, based on the number of admissions.
Emergency Executive Order No. 409 is being submitted to extend Emergency Executive Order No. 405, dated May 10, 2023, for five (5) days, if this relates to Rikers.
Pursuant to Local Law 160 of 2021, this report provides information regarding the amount of commissary funds remaining in the accounts of all individuals who are no longer in the custody of the department, the number of such accounts and efforts made in each year to return any unclaimed funds.
Emergency Executive Order No. 405, is being submitted to extend Emergency Executive Order No. 401, dated May 5, 2023, for five (5) days if this relates to Rikers.
Emergency Executive Order No. 401, is being submitted to extend Emergency Executive Order No. 397, dated April 30, 2023, for five (5) days, if this relates to Rikers.
Pursuant to NYC Charter Chapter 35 Sect. 815(a)(20)(i), this report provides information on the department's efforts during the previous quarter to implement the plan pursuant to NYC Charter Chapter 35 Sect. 815(a)(19).
Pursuant to Local Law 132 of 2019, the Department is required to report on a monthly basis an aggregate report on non-production of individuals in custody to scheduled medical appointments. The data within the report represents the non-unique number of incarcerated individuals who were not produced.
Pursuant to Local Law 87 of 2015, this report provides data on the number of grievances submitted by individuals in custody throughout the quarter disaggregated by the method of submission, facility and housing area of submission, category of the grievance, and whether the grievance was grievable.
